The school choir spent three days in the Auditori i Palau de Congresos de Castelló for the Globeducate International Music Festival. 230 pupils from 14 schools from six countries got together to form an orchestra and choir. The first two days pupils rehearsed with a specialist voice teacher and with a professional conductor and then on the third day gave a performance in the theatre that was streamed live on YouTube.

The event gave students the experience to rehearse and perform in an international venue, work with professional musicians, sing with an orchestra, learn the process of preparing and performing music and meet pupils from other countries.

After the previous years where music and the performing arts in general were so severely affected by the pandemic and its repercussions, this event allowed those talented students to be recognised and who have never had the opportunity to make music were able to create together an experience they will remember all their lives.

If you haven’t yet had the chance to enjoy the concert, you can watch it at the following link.
