Governance and leadership at Cambridge House
At Cambridge House we promote educational excellence and proactive support for our students through transparent and committed leadership.Approved by the Valencian Regional Ministry of Education, accredited by the NABSS (National Association of British Schools in Spain), Cambridge House was the first school in Spain to obtain the BSO (British Schools Overseas) distinction. In addition, we are subject to regular inspections to ensure that we maintain the highest standards of educational quality.
We encourage a rigorous approach to self-evaluation, with each member of staff striving to improve. The needs of our students are always at the heart of our day-to-day work, always under the umbrella of the Globeducate Education Directorate, which works closely with the school to ensure that standards of teaching and learning are constantly tested, with the sole aim of achieving the very best for our students.
Transparency
We understand transparency as a way of life, promoting and encouraging open and fluid communication with school staff, families and students. In addition, each year we publish our academic results, as well as a list of our graduates' top university destinations.
Social commitment
At Cambridge House we want our students to be committed and caring, socially aware individuals, encouraging them to dedicate time and effort to caring for the world around them. The environment, the elderly, war refugees, people without resources, cancer or rare diseases are just some of the causes supported by our educational community.
Globeducate Platinum Standard: Continuous improvement
To ensure continuous improvement and development, Globeducate has implemented a framework for monitoring and improving quality in all its schools, known as the Platinum Standard. This helps schools to assess the quality of the education they provide, using a system based on best educational practice from around the world. The programme is structured around a series of quality indicators that guide improvement plans in areas such as effective leadership, teaching quality and student progress and well-being.
